In the national level HACKATHON Balikpapan competition, a team of students from the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) achieved an outstanding achievement. The team consisting of Muhammad Sabran, Jo Kevin Nathaniel, and Kristoffer Timoty Sugiarto, mentored by Nur Fajri Azhar, M.Kom., CIISA, won 1st place with an innovative application called "TKids" (TK Information Data System).
TKids was born from two fundamental problems. First, the inefficient data management of PAUD students in Indonesia, causing uncertainty about the number of students. Second, the high number of child abduction cases due to lack of parental supervision. In facing these challenges, the TKids team is committed to providing solutions that benefit the community.
The TKids app has several main objectives:
- Optimizing Administrative Arrangements : Overcoming administrative problems in PAUD and TK environments by switching from manual methods to more efficient use of digital data.
- Facilitate Government, Academic Community, and Parents : Benefit the government, academic community, and parents by providing easy access to manage education information and administration.
- Save Time and Energy : Help save time and energy with organized and automated administrative processes.
- Increase Efficiency and Productivity : Speed up the education administration process for more optimal use of resources.
- Enables Real-Time Monitoring and Evaluation : Enable real-time monitoring of PAUD and TK performance for more effective policies.
- Enhance Multi-stakeholder Cooperation : Improve cooperation and coordination between the government, academic community, and parents to provide the best education.
TKids is the result of innovation by ITK students who want to provide solutions to administrative problems in PAUD and TK. With a focus on saving time and energy, improving efficiency, and facilitating cooperation, TKids has the potential to create positive changes in the world of Indonesian education.
